Welcome to Carville Counselling
Compassion • Respect • Kindness
"Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions"- Dalai Lama.
Life can be challenging. Navigating those challenges can feel overwhelming at times, but you do not have to do it alone. Reaching out takes a tremendous amount of courage and I would be honoured to be a part of your healing journey.

About Me
Natasha Carville
MA, RCC
Born and raised on beautiful Vancouver Island, I have happily called Victoria home for over 20 years. Having travelled and worked in other provinces and countries, this Island and all its natural beauty has always had a special place in my heart.
I completed my Master’s in Counselling at the University of Victoria and have been fortunate enough to practice in both the private and non-profit sectors in this vibrant city since 2016.
I believe that a strong therapeutic connection contributes greatly to healing. Building trust through compassion, respect, kindness and non-judgmental guidance is essential in my therapeutic approach.
Using a holistic focus, I incorporate a trauma-informed biopsychosocial and strength-based approach, utilizing elements of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), CBT, and solution-focused therapy to support clients through their counselling journey.
Training and professional development are important parts of my professional growth as a healer. I have engaged in workshops and training in several areas including CBT, DBT, EMDR, and integrating Art and Play therapy in my work with children and youth. As a passionate student of yoga and meditation, I strive to bring the mindfulness concepts and practices of those disciplines into my counselling work.
I feel a tremendous amount of gratitude to hold space for the courageous people whom I am honoured to support. I love doing what I do!
What I Offer
Within my professional experience, I have worked with adults, youth, couples, and families in a number of different areas including; Substance Misuse, Trauma, Violence and Abuse, Anxiety, Depression, Mood Disorders, Grief and Loss, Life Transitions, Relationship Issues, and Separation/Divorce.
I believe that with guidance, change can happen when people recognize their strengths. Together we can develop coping, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, achieve goals, and move toward balance.
Sessions can be in person, by phone, or online.

“Authenticity is a collection of choices that we have to make every day. It's about the choice to show up and be real. The choice to be honest. The choice to let our true selves be seen.”
